This is mostly due to the following of the lastpass breach.
Dealing with accounts
Firstly to make new folders in a password manager to store info based on priority. Creating the following folders -accounts i can keep, -accounts i can sit on, -accounts i can yeet. Alongside -notes to keep and -notes to yeet to clean up notes as well.
accounts i can sit onwill eventually be gone through to further deal with accounts
Go through the vault and reorganize listings to fit in the folders. This can be a very tedious process depending on number of accounts and notes. (like mine for example, why did i do this to myself and not just limit shit i signup for and better organize it T-T)

There’s probably a better/easier way of doing this using the webui of the password manager or even exporting it and editing or scripting the editing of it that way, but i guess i’m not lazy enough to make this easier on myself.
Changing passwords
Change passwords and create new folders to reorganize logins and notes to have them be in more appropriate and fitting folders. Personal preference on how these will be dealt with, if you have alias accounts and personal accounts that’s a good starting point on organizing them, if not already.
Dealing with emails
There’s several ways of dealing with unsubscribing email from unwanted newsletters and other bulk emails. Tools such as unsubscriber or even unroll.me might be a simple way to handle it for the most part. But because I don’t want to keep those connected to my accounts and I’m a lazy pos, I’ll be setting up a Google Script and a gmail search filter to somewhat automate the process.
So follow this step-by-step guide for configuration of the script, then move onto setting up the filter to apply the label created if an email has the words “unsubscribe”.

Optionally, you can check the last option box to apply the label to all the current search results, which will ultimately lead to dupes in the file. (again i need to better be ontop of things, why do i let it get like this)

There are also other optional scripts to help clean up messages older than a few days, that can be setup to avoid uneeded backlog of emails.
Note that this probably isnt the end all be all of unsubscribing as some links to unsubscribe take you to pages that require input to unsub, but it will at least also help with a list of services in a sheet to go thorugh and ensure you’re unsubded from services.
(more information found after setting it up)
File dupes on system
Regarding duplicate files, could use a tool such as CCleaner or if mainly images a tool such as VisiPics could be handy, with the added benefit of it being foss. For degenerate reasons I’ll use VisiPics to help clear out some of the duplicate images i may have on my system. T
